This year is off to a great start, we are 3 weeks into the build of this years robot, we have a chassis and kicker design fabricated and undergoing testing, we should be ready for testing next week. This years game is called Breakaway, and it presents some interesting challenges for our robot, like climbing a 50% grade to go over a hump in the field that is 12 inches high, we also need to kick a soccer ball across the field to the goal with the help of a vision targeting system. Breakaway, should be a fun game. Please come and join us at the Michigan District Events this March 12th and 13th in Ann Arbor, at Skyline High School, and March 19th and 20th at Grand Valley State University in the Fieldhouse. Get more information about the events at this site.
